It all started in 2002—that’s when Marczyk Fine Foods first opened their doors. Pete Marczyk has always been passionate about great ingredients, but was frustrated at having to drive all over Denver to find them. One place for fish, another for meat, another for produce… you get the picture. Pete filled the shelves with products Denver had never seen under one roof: sustainably raised beef, pork, and lamb from family farms; unique and interesting Italian imports; old-fashioned sodas; milk in glass bottles; amazing Colorado-made products; and so much more.
Now that picnic season has started, Marczyk’s house-baked baguettes and ciabatta with fresh mozzarella is a great start. Add Niman Ranch cured meats or a delicious pâté. Pick one of their deli sandwiches, like the roast beef on the house-made Jewish rye, or a real BLT on white toast.
Marczyk Fine Foods is an urban grocer with two locations: Clarkson and 17th and Colfax and Fairfax. Both stores have plenty of parking, and helpful staff who can recommend everything from where to find ingredients to how to cook them—butchers are on staff, too! See what Denver’s award-winning local grocery store has to offer you and your family.
Join Marczyk Fine Foods on May 4th for an all store party. Take advantage of Friends & Family discounts, and meet their local vendors!
