An Invitation to NatureBridge's Summer Family Getaway Program
Nature has a magical way of bringing people together. Join NatureBridge on the trails, at the beach, and in the forest to connect with your loved ones while exploring Olympic National Park and learning about environmental science. From night hikes and stargazing, to canoeing and campfires, NatureBridge’s Summer Family Getaway Program has something to offer the entire family. It’s also a great way to spend the Fourth of July holiday week!
NatureBridge’s campus on Lake Crescent will serve as your basecamp for exploring Olympic National Park. You can relax lake-side on the historic grounds of the Rosemary Inn, canoe on glacially carved Lake Crescent, hike to beautiful vistas and explore the old growth forest around Barnes Point. Their professional educators lead these campus explorations and accompany you on one field trip. Past field trips include a visit to Hurricane Ridge, the coast, and the Elwha River. Program activities and content will be geared towards students 4-12 years old, but families with children of other ages are welcome to attend the program and engage in the activities that are provided. Program cost includes meals, lodging, and all educational experiences.
