This year's line up includes Taste of Seattle Made at AXIS Pioneer Square on October 5th, an informative and engaging panel at The Collective Seattle about the future of advanced manufacturing and the maker economy on October 9th, a lively discussion about all things craft beer at Redhook Brewlab on October 11th, plus youth tours of Seattle Made manufacturing facilities, pop–ups, meet-the-maker events, and more happening throughout the week! Seattle Made, a program of the Seattle Good Business Network, was launched in 2015 and has quickly grown to over 500 members! The program focuses on growing and supporting a diverse ecosystem of urban manufacturers and producers that expand opportunities for local ownership and meaningful employment, build our region’s long-term resiliency, and celebrate Seattle’s unique cultural identity.

It’s the fourth annual Taste of Seattle Made, sponsored by Central Co-op! Join over 35 Seattle Made producers on Friday, October 5th at AXIS Pioneer Square for a reimagined Taste of Seattle Made, this year featuring delicious samples and a few fun “mash-up” collaborations—think spicy sausage pasta, ice cream sandwiches, and boozy appetizers! Taste of Seattle Made tickets include five sample pours and mini bites from collaborators. As always, Taste is a celebration of food and beverages all produced right here in Seattle!

Head over to Redhook Brewlab on Capitol Hill for Seattle Made Brewers’ Shoptalk on Thursday, October 11th for a lively discussion about all things craft beer! Moderated by Kendall Jones of Washington Beer Blog, panelists include Seattle’s most beloved breweries including Redhook Brewery, Pike Brewing Company, Populuxe Brewing, Stoup Brewing and Georgetown Brewing! Discussion topics will include sustainability practices, what’s made Seattle such a hot spot for brewers, and the future of the industry in our city. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session and tickets include a draft pint from Redhook or one of our guest panelists’ breweries. This program is presented in partnership with Redhook Brewery.

From October 8th - 11th, Seattle Made is proud to host a series of youth tours focused on the exciting world of urban manufacturing! Youth will see firsthand the rewarding and meaningful career pathways and employment opportunities created by passionate local makers, producers, and manufacturers throughout Seattle. They’ll get to see “how it’s made” and learn how they can focus their educational and work experience to become part of the local maker economy.
