Igniting creativity is what the Pratt Fine Arts Center does best. Their mission is making art accessible to everyone, from the budding artist who is five years old, to the master artist, to the senior still making art at age 95. Kids and teens are the big focus for summer, and Pratt has a wide array of kids’ art camps and teen summer programs that include amazing art-making opportunities in blacksmithing, glassblowing, painting, drawing, jewelry making, woodworking, sculpture, and more!
Milo, age 10, has been coming to Pratt each summer for the past four years. He loves welding and blacksmithing; knows Pratt well enough to take other kids on tours; and hopes to teach classes one day. Milo says, “There’s no such thing as too much Pratt,” and he even attended a custom class with his grandma where they built a magnificent octopus and made memories to last a lifetime.
Join Pratt Fine Arts for artistic adventures this summer and discover why making art is one of the best and most enriching ways for kids to spend their time. Pratt creates and nurtures a sense of wonder in our youngest artists, and allows them to develop skills in problem-solving, math, and language as they work on their creativity. They just might make a bunch of new friends, too!
Check out their summer camps for kids (ages 7-12) and teens (ages 13-18), and make art at Pratt all summer long! Pratt is a creative community where everyone is welcome.
